Keith Higgins is a Gaelic football player from Ireland. He plays for Mayo senior football team and plays his club football for Ballyhaunis. In 2006, he was the Young Player of the Year. He also captained both the Mayo Under 21 Football & Hurling teams to All Ireland Championships. Injury ruled him out of the 2007 championship.[1] Higgins has also represented Mayo and has played for Connacht in the Railway Cup in hurling.[1] Hurling is his first love.[2] In 2005 he won a Christy Ring Cup All Star, In 2008, Higgins was nominated for the Christy Ring Cup Player of the Year award.[3]
